Tasks

-Conducts research and assists with tasks such as permit applications and material testing -Prepare drawing submittals using AutoCAD, Revit, and Autodesk Advance Steel for fabrication and erection purposes. -Perform detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and design for steel fabrication and erection. Develop fabrication drawings, connection details, and bill of materials. Coordinate closely with fabrication shops, field teams, and engineering staff to ensure accuracy, constructability, and timely delivery of projects. Provide technical oversight during fabrication and erection to resolve design and shop issues. -Perform detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and design for access systems, primarily focused on construction hoist and its run-back platform structures (four poles, star leg, and mast towers) along with other temporary structure projects involving shoring and bracing, scaffold, mast climbers, work platforms, roof protections, sidewalk shed, construction fence, and suspended systems. -Collaborates with branches and field teams to gather comprehensive project details -Works on projects varying in size, from smaller initiatives to larger endeavors involving basic to intermediate design responsibilities -Evaluates and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks, applying moderate complexity skills within broader project contexts.

-Able to review/obtain necessary information for level 1 & 2 projects. -Able to perform calculations. -Full knowledge of regulations and codes. -Basic skilled in FEA/Structural Analysis software. -Familiar with components of commonly used product lines. -Basic understanding of Engineering calculators. -Proficient in utilizing CAD & 3D model skills at drafting low complexity projects using Revit. -Has passed or is about to take FE exam. -Collaboratively uses limited judgement on details of work and in part of a broader assignment. -Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. -0-3 years of experience. -Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited program. -Able to communicate concepts to drafters/designers.
