Tasks

-Own the delivery of strategic mobile projects, defining the technical vision and roadmap. -Lead the development and evolution of ScottishPower’s mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business strategy and customer needs. -Ensure high standards of documentation and knowledge sharing across the team. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Security, and QA. -Champion engineering best practices, including secure coding, observability, and accessibility. -Review and approve technical designs, ensuring consistency, scalability, and maintainability. -Manage and mentor mobile engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

-Experience implementing accessibility standards and inclusive design. -Strong background in native mobile development (iOS and Android). -Ability to lead and inspire engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. -Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. -Proven experience leading technical delivery of mobile applications at scale. -Knowledge of mobile security testing tools and vulnerability remediation. -Proficiency with source control tools (e.g. Git). -Familiarity with observability and analytics tools for mobile platforms. -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
