Tasks

-Produce detailed fabrication and erection drawings using Tekla Structures -Model steelwork assemblies, connections, and components accurately to suit fabrication and site conditions -Generate GA drawings, material lists, bolt lists, and CNC files -Coordinate with engineers, fabricators, and site teams to resolve design/detailing queries -Apply a buildability-focused approach to all outputs -Ensure models and drawings meet relevant codes, client standards, and internal QA procedures -Be part of a team that self-delivers from design through to fabrication and install

What You Bring

-Proven experience as a steelwork detailer (ideally 3+ years) -Proficiency in Tekla Structures is essential -Good understanding of steel fabrication, erection methods, and connection types -Familiarity with Eurocodes and UK industry standards -Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings and calculations -Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to solving issues -Experience working in a Tier 2 or subcontractor environment (preferred) -Work on technically interesting and varied structural steel packages
