Tasks
-Prepare and review technical documentation, including G99 applications and associated connection data. -Manage grid connection processes for renewable energy projects from early development to delivery stages. -Liaise with network operators (DNOs, National Grid, etc.) to coordinate connection requirements and approvals. -Support the implementation of grid connection strategies as the company transitions to an owner-operator model. -Maintain accurate records of grid connection progress and technical data. -Work closely with internal teams such as design, planning, and project management to ensure technical alignment.

What You Bring
You’ll be part of a small, integrated team where proactive communication and teamwork are highly valued. The Connections Lead will play a key role in managing and delivering grid connection activities across multiple renewable energy projects, including battery storage and solar developments. The position requires strong technical understanding of power systems and grid connection processes, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with design, planning, and project management teams. Type: Permanent | Hybrid (3 days in office) -Proven experience in grid connections, power systems, or renewable energy development. -Knowledge of UK power network developments, legislation and industry standards -This role could suit an individual with previous experience in a developer company or in a DNO organisation -Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating within a small, dynamic team. -Ability to interpret and manage technical data related to grid and power systems. -Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish common ground and build relationships quickly -Self-starter capable of working autonomously and as part of a team -Strong technical understanding of G99 applications and related connection processes.
