Senior Transportation Project Manager

Tasks

-Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff, reviewing agencies and project sponsors/stakeholders -Work with the Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews -Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual commitments, design standards and lead production meetings -Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to closeout) -Perform periodic check in with staff and technical contributors to confirm deliverables are meeting schedule commitments -Supervise project staff and act as a mentor for lessexperienced Project Managers, Engineers, or Engineers in Training -Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or mediumsized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving multiple project staff -Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to validate that work is completed within the parameters of agreedupon budget and schedule -Produce, prioritize, pursue and coordinate several projects concurrently -Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of quality deliverables while managing critical path schedule -Actively lead and implement QA/QC procedures to validate work is completed accurately and neatly

-Ability to lead proposal development and client focused pursuits for specific projects related to CEQA/NEPA to achieve environmental clearance all the way through final design and construction -10 years related civil design and management experience -Clear written and oral communication with delivery team in a multidisciplinary team -Project management experience of active design projects involving roadway and railway elements -Familiarity with various CAD / GIS / design calculation software to effective lead team members in production of engineering concepts, capital cost determinations, and design level drawings
