The Role

Overview

Oversee planning applications, land promotion, stakeholder liaison, and delivery for a housebuilder.

Tasks

You’ll play a key role in shaping planning strategies, securing consents, and driving land acquisition and delivery targets. This role offers the chance to work on projects at varying scales, with extensive engagement across local authorities, stakeholders, and communities. -Drafting planning statements, conditions discharge, and S106 submissions -Negotiating planning and legal agreements -Monitoring local planning policy and advising on its impact -Overseeing external consultants and planning budgets -Managing planning applications from submission through to decision and implementation -Leading stakeholder engagement, including with LPAs, councillors, statutory bodies, and the public -Preparing site appraisals and reports to support new land opportunities
