Tasks

-Perform complex data analysis and modeling to optimize infrastructure designs -Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with infrastructure projects -Manage and mentor junior engineers in the planning and design process -Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE -Develop comprehensive infrastructure plans for major urban development projects -Create and review technical drawings and specifications using advanced CAD software -Present infrastructure plans and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders -Utilize GIS technology to analyze spatial data and inform planning decisions -Conduct detailed site analyses and feasibility studies for proposed infrastructure initiatives -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and government officials

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent professional certification -Understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE -Minimum of 12 years of experience in infrastructure planning or a related field -In-depth knowledge of sustainable infrastructure design principles -Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects -Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment -Familiarity with urban development trends and best practices -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field; Master's degree preferred -Strong project management abilities, including budgeting and resource allocation -Strong skills in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and data analysis -Expert proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software -Effective communication and presentation skills in English
