Tasks
-Work with existing customer base supporting their needs as well as act as a hunter to bring in new customers to the business. -Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes. -Actively participate in sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeable on current market, business, and product trends. -Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region, segments, and verticals within the region. Keep current on electrical business and product trends. -Develop a vertical market and account management plan that focuses on strategic growth. Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop “go to market” strategies to drive business to the end user customer and the standard construction channel. -Deliver on forecasted results consistently and be capable of identifying and qualifying powers system study opportunities with follow-up remediation, electrical service projects focused on low (600 V) and medium voltage (5-38kV) for both greenfield and brownfield, electrical service agreements, and product refurbishment/retrofit/upgrade opportunities. -Position Siemens as an industry leader among service providers, leveraging Siemens world-class digital service delivery as a key differentiator. -Attend industry specific networking events and actively participate in organizations as a representative for SIEMENS in the electrical service market and develop and maintain a qualified funnel of electrical service opportunities with emphasis on pipeline management (award and execution dates) -Achieve new order/booking and profit goals based on your assigned quota. -Work with your internal sales support to enable you to spend more time with your customers. -Set pricing based on identified value of the services offered to the customer. -Collaborate with sales estimators to prepare cost estimates and customer bid packages. -Act as a consultant to multiple levels of the customer’s organization by understanding their challenges and recommending services to ensure their building systems perform as required to achieve business goals. -Consult with the customer and determine budgeting and investment requirements. -Partner with other sales business teams to plan, target, and acquire new projects and accounts. -Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities including forecasting expected order intake. Deliver on forecasted results consistently. -Attend industry-specific networking events; actively participate in professional organizations such as ASHRAE, AEE or USGBC to build a network of contacts and to represent Siemens in the market. -Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale. -Develop a vertical market(s) and geographic account management with a strategic growth plan and educate the market and customers on SIEMENS electrical service capabilities and identify opportunities to address customer needs with SIEMENS solutions and services.

What You Bring
-Account development and strategic sales skills -Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations to participate in the required Siemens vehicle reimbursement program (FAVR) -Experience with Microsoft Office suite -Verbal and written communication skills in English -Willingness to travel (up to 50% overnight) across Rhode Island, Boston, Worcester (east), and southern New Hampshire. -Expected to spend minimum 50% of time in customer facing activities, performed in person and on customer site. -High School Diploma or state-recognized GED -Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or another related technical degree, with at least 7+ years of sales, business development, or consulting within the electrical industry experience -Must be able to demonstrate: Technical and commercial knowledge of electrical distribution equipment (120V- 38,000V) systems and applications (preferably within all previously mentioned targeted markets) -Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills -Must be willing and available to travel overnight for training and business development. -Knowledge of and strong networking relationships within the local electrical market is strongly desired. -Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service offerings effectively and independently. -Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship -Experience in other electrically focused industries such as Utility, Industrial, Distributor, or Contractor is a plus.
