Tasks

-Perform engineering calculations using PSSE, ETAP, SKM, Easy Power, PSCAD, Mathcad Prime or equivalent tools. -Performs and reviews engineering power engineering studies and calculations including short circuit, load flow, reactive compensation sizing, cable ampacity, arc flash study, harmonic study, insulation coordination, protection coordination, grounding, battery sizing study and auxiliary system sizing. -Perform protective relay coordination, settings, and configuration.

What You Bring

-Hands on experience with power studies software like PSSE, ETAP, SKM, Easy Power, PSCAD, Mathcad Prime or equivalent tools. -Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. -Demonstrated leadership experience in both project and disciplinelevel responsibilities. -Minimum of 8 years of related work experience. -Advanced knowledge of renewable energy systems including onshore wind, PV solar, and BESS, and data center electrical systems. -Familiarity with IEEE standards for protection system, transformer, circuit breakers, disconnect switches, grounding, cables, and neutral grounding transformers. -Size major electrical equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, inverters, generators, capacitor banks, reactors, surge arrestors, switchgear, current transformers, cables and UPS systems.
