The Role

Overview

Install and dismantle event structures, handling equipment and ensuring safety.

Tasks

-Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and other material handling equipment to load and unload material at the event site -Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation in a time frames required by management -Work in all weather conditions -Reference and adhere to schedule/start times as required on operations schedule -Help maintain a safe and clean job site -Follow and comply with all safety and company regulations, while maintaining site standards -Assist in assembly and dismantling at designated job sites while adhering to company standards -Consult with Site Manager about scope of work

What You Bring

Education and/or Experience Language Skills -Basic Knowledge of P7 (AS120), frame tents and Uniflex (AS200) structures -Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one setting or within a group atmosphere to other employees of the organization. -Previous experience as a general laborer -Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds -Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. -High School Diploma/GED or relevant work experience preferred -Ability to handle constructive criticism, as well as establish achievable goals to foster growth -Hold or ability to obtain forklift certification for class 1-5 per OSHA classifications. -Regularly required to stand and use hands to handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. -Ability to travel for extended periods of time with short notice -Ability to set priorities and juggle multiple tasks, particularly in a fast paced, deadline-oriented production environment -Occasionally required to work non-traditional shifts; early or late starts and possible overnight work -Hold valid driver’s license- preferred -Occasionally required to walk; sit; reach above shoulders; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and use foot/feet to operate machinery -Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment -Want to travel nationwide while you work? -Bilingual in Spanish preferred, not required.
