Asset Supervisor

Overview

Manage highway asset data, plan maintenance, supervise works, ensure safety.

Tasks

-Ensure all work is carried out in adherence to relevant Health & Safety regulations. -Monitor and manage works orders, ensuring optimal budget utilisation. -Manage data using Pavement and Routine Maintenance Management Systems to pinpoint maintenance needs based on surveys and defect reports. -Assess and evaluate requests for surface treatments from service providers, local members, and the public. -Conduct on-site audits and inspections of contractor work, resolving queries and approving variations where necessary. -Liaise with network staff and service providers to plan and programme maintenance works effectively. -Support insurance claims and legal proceedings by gathering relevant data and providing court statements as required. -Develop and coordinate annual work programmes in alignment with budget constraints and asset management objectives.

What You Bring

-Experience of contract detail and specifications -Ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision -Good and proven level of IT skills -CSCS Card, NRSWA Supervisors Certificate and CITB site manager health and safety certificate. -Knowledge of measurement and valuation of highways works -Substantial experience of highways maintenance and construction including previous supervisory experience. -Streetworks and Health and Safety experience -HNC in Civil Engineering or other appropriate subject, or significant experience in Highway/Transportation Infrastructure.
