Finance Manager - (Business Partner)

Tasks

-Partner with operations leadership to support long-term capital allocation strategy and strategic financial decision making -Research pricing, competitors’ trends and other factors affecting performance -Prepare and manage the annual strategic plans and budgeting process for the area(s) -Partner with the Accounting and FP&A functions to support completion of all relevant internal and external reporting requirements -Partner with Area General Manager(s) to provide financial expertise and operational leadership to drive the strategic direction for the manufacturing sites -Monitor financial performance to identify and drive cost reductions and cost control initiatives -Analyze and interpret plant operation results, evaluating variances, and assessing the effect on plant operations -Ensure the weekly forecasting process is complete and accurate, providing good visibility of likely outturn as well as actions required to hit targets -Provide operations management with strategic tools and interpreted reports to help drive business results -Delegate finance activities to team members, as appropriate -Provide business modelling and risk assessments -Lead, coach, develop and mentor a small team (1-3) of finance professionals

What You Bring

-In-depth understanding of measurement of goals and key performance indices -Relevant work experience could be considered in lieu of a degree for the right candidate -Prior experience in team leadership preferred -The ability to be tactical as well as see the bigger operational picture -Demonstrated ability to identify problems and this independently about alternative ways to solve problems based on analysis of data -Experience with complex ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, SysPro, Sage), SAP S/4 Hana preferred -Travel – up to 25% -Ability to act independently as a subject matter expert with limited supervision -Proven ability to synthesize complex and detailed data and information into meaningful outtakes and decision base information -Experience with data mining or planning applications -Ability to implement ideas across a multi-plant environment -Attention to detail around producing high quality products and meeting deadlines -Ability to influence others without a direct reporting relationship -Ability to challenge information and uncover robust facts and data to improve insights and the quality of the final decision -5+ years manufacturing finance and/or cost accounting experience required -Advanced MS Office -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced Degrees, CMA, CPA a plus
