Tasks

The Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A supports Conifer’s Finance and Accounting team by developing financial reports, forecasts, and dashboards that improve visibility and decision-making. Reporting directly to the SVP, Controller, this role bridges Accounting and Finance by combining analytical work with hands-on reporting and data management. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced environment. -Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports using Excel and BI tools. -Support Return on Labor (ROL) analytics, overhead allocations, and property-level performance visibility. -Support monthly board and quarterly lender reporting by preparing financial packages and calculating covenant ratios. -Partner with the internal Yardi reporting team to enhance data extraction, automate recurring reports, and improve model feeds. -Consolidate various inputs from Property Management, Development, Portfolio Management, and corporate departments. -Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual reporting through automation. -Maintain and improve corporate and consolidated forecasting models, including the consolidated property valuation. -Ensure accurate, consistent metrics across the enterprise. -Run scenario analyses across revenue, staffing, operating costs, and capital planning. -Provide consolidated forecasting impacts for Development and Acquisitions, as needed. -Assist with board and leadership presentations. -Produce monthly results packages with clear variance explanations and performance insights. -Work with operations leaders to understand trends, manage budgets, and identify risks and opportunities. -Help implement AI tools across FP&A by pulling structured data sets, preparing training inputs, and testing new workflows. -Support the annual budget and quarterly updates, including assumption gathering and model updates. -Support strategic initiatives, portfolio analysis, and operational improvement efforts. -Support lender, investor, and internal reporting requirements. -Build standardized templates for budgets, forecasts, headcount planning, and reporting.

What You Bring

-Ability to learn ERP and reporting systems (Yardi, Sage Intacct, Power BI) -3 - 5 years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or similar analytical roles. -able to meet deadlines -This position is remote, but will be required to travel to Rochester, New York office a few times throughout the year. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -comfort working with large datasets -37.5 Hours per Week -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required -able to translate data into insights -Strong Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) -Organized and proactive -Experience in real estate, affordable housing, nonprofit, or development finance is a plus -Clear communicator -Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP accounting, and variance analysis

$75,000.00 - $105,000.00 Conifer Realty is a professional, service-oriented organization offering a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, along with excellent benefits that include ongoing training and development,13 holidays,15 days paid time off, 401K with company match, medical, HSA, dependent care Flex account, dental, vision; company-paid life, short and long-term disability insurances; and a wellness program. The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $105,000.00. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This range does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
