Field QC tech overseeing PETROSLEEVE pipeline repairs, ensuring safety and compliance.

Tasks

-Interpret accurate and timely field reports based on data collected -Communicating professionally with clients and inspectors -Overseeing and inspecting PETROSLEEVE (a TD Williamson Product) pipeline repair installations. -Provide on site leadership and direction to repair crews -Lift and carry moderate loads as part of daily tasks -Monitor and evaluate parameters to ensure that procedure are in compliance with specifications.

What You Bring

-Travel regularly and stay overnight out of town. -Understand pipeline anomalies and failure mechanisms, and their relationships with repairs -Work in varying weather and environmental conditions -Engineering Technology Diploma. Preference to NAIT/SAIT Mechanical, Materials, or Petroleum Engineering Graduates. Will give consideration to candidates with field experience in pipeline integrity, or oil and gas welding experience (CWB Level 1). -Effective verbal and written communication skills -Valid class 5 drivers license with GDL restrictions removed - MUST -Professional, adaptable, safety focused and bring a positive attitude -Successfully pass and complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening -A proactive problem solver who thrives in the field -Strong technical computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Apple, Google Applications) -Safety Certifications are an asset: CSTS 09, Frist Aid, H2S, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space
