Tasks

-Provide expert guidance and advice to operational leaders and frontline staff on safety best practices -Oversee the investigation of incidents and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions -Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry innovations to maintain best-in-class safety systems -Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a strong safety culture and promote employee wellbeing -Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and internal standards -Analyse incident trends and safety data to drive proactive interventions and continuous improvement -Lead the development and implementation of health, safety and environmental initiatives

What You Bring

-Knowledge of Environmental legislation and statutes, and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project -10+ years' experience in a HSE Manager role with Tier 1 Health, Commercial Tower or Stadium project experience -Cert IV in Environmental Management -Knowledge of Safety legislation and statutes (especially those relating to Comcare), and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project -Bachelor degree in Safety, Environment, Project Management or other associated disciplines -Diploma of Safety in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent -TAE Training and Assessment -Safety Lead Auditor Qualification, Internal Environmental Auditor Qualification
