Overview

Manage and deliver land defence projects, overseeing planning, risk, and stakeholder coordination.

Tasks

-Stakeholder Representation & Engagement: Represent the LRF C4 Mod team, Plat-IES, and SPO in stakeholder groups, enabling transition of engineering designs to platform owners. -Leadership & Mentorship: Provide expert project management advice to Defence executives and teams, while mentoring project staff to build capability. -Documentation & Methodology Support: Prepare and review project documentation, applying methodologies such as AgilePM, PMMv2, and PRINCE-2. -Testing & Risk Management: Participate in test activities, risk management, lessons learned, and progress reporting to support capability delivery. -Project Planning & Scheduling: Conduct planning, estimating, and scheduling of Defence tasks, ensuring integration with master schedules.

What You Bring

-Problem-Solving & Technical Insight: Skilled in resolving complex issues with an understanding of technical, operational, and logistical requirements to support capability delivery. -Project Lifecycle Management: Ability to provide specialist advice on requirements definition, planning, monitoring, and controlling projects/products across the full capability lifecycle. -Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and build trusted business relationships. -Compliance & Sustainment Oversight: Experience evaluating capability sustainment against legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks to ensure alignment and readiness. -Qualifications & Defence Experience: Relevant tertiary qualifications, knowledge of Defence standards/regulations, baseline clearance (with NV1 upgrade), and highly desirable credentials such as AIPM, AgilePM, PMBOK, or Defence project delivery experience.
