Affordable Area Manager

Manage 243 affordable housing units, lead property managers, ensure compliance.

Tasks

-Adhering to all guidelines within all applicable government programs (for affordable properties). -Ensuring customer satisfaction through the property team and resolving resident concerns, when necessary. -Owner Liaison – Enhancing relationships with partners, agencies and other entities and maximizing financial performance. -Monitor, coordinate and prepare all financial data. -Performing quarterly file audits and ensuring discrepancies are corrected. -Building a team of highly capable and motivated Property Managers and creating a positive environment to work and provide great service. -Assist Regional Vice President (RVP) with special projects. -Assist Property Managers with marketing and retention ideas, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of marketing materials.

What You Bring

-Ability to travel extensively to both local and nationwide locations as necessary. -Experience with MCR and REAC -Experience using RealPage/OneSite products and MS Office. -Regional Apartment Manager experience. -4-year degree or (4+ years) commensurate experience in the Multi-Family industry in a supervisory role -CAM, CAPS and CPM (or willing to obtain) Certification -HUD, Project Based Section 8, LIHTC, and EIV experience
