The Role

Overview

Maintain and troubleshoot building plant systems at Pan Peninsula & Wardian.

Tasks

-Regularly review relevant reporting procedures and where required provide to the Support Office. -Direct the on-site team (in conjunction with the FM) to ensure they create, organise, and maintain records and administration systems in respect of site activities in an efficient manner. -Ensure that in-house and external service providers are compliant and working within the estate and corporate H&S frameworks. -Ensure all paperwork in relation to accident, first aid and incident reporting is completed correctly by the in-house team and pass all the relevant paperwork to Facilities Manager. -To monitor plant and to record data using the supplied systems. -To keep all service areas, plant rooms, storage cupboards and workspaces well maintained and tidy. -Have a key involvement in disaster recovery, emergency response and contingency planning. -Ensure that risk assessments and SOPs are in place and updated in accordance with legislation/best practice. -Ensure that all records are held securely and in compliance with GDPR. -Attend meetings where required with Facilities Management team. -To identify and diagnose faults and carry out remedials, adjustments and other maintenance works accordingly. -Perform required routine servicing, repair or adjustment of plant or machinery in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule. -To achieve the highest standard of plant and equipment efficiency by making sure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the set instructions.

What You Bring

-Troubleshooting skills with mechanical breakdowns -Organisation skills. -Good communication skills. -To be thoroughly familiar and comply with the Company's "Health & Safety" policy and procedures. -ACOP L8 qualified. -NVQ/C&G Level 3 in a trade (Electrical/Mechanical etc) -Knowledge of HVAC, LTHW, BCWS and other onsite systems. -Methodology and problem solving -Critical spares and stock management. -BMS monitoring and fault identifying.
