Supervise and coordinate maintenance operations for multi-family properties.

Tasks

-Scheduling projects in vacant apartments ahead of time to get work completed in a timely manner -Ordering supplies for inventory -Communicating with vendors and staff to resolve any issues -Managing large capital projects including bidding, supervising contractors and sub-contractors, and reviewing completed work

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of the following: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, changing locks and cutting keys, make ready punch lists, carpentry, landscaping, and general curb appeal -Experience in estimating maintenance and repair timelines and costs associated with projects -Experience with Yardi -The ability to create a team-centered environment and lead that team effectively -The ability to take direction from leadership and follow through on the directive -The ability to set goals and create a plan to accomplish them -Proven time management skills in meeting deadlines and achieving goals -Knowledge of property management at the leasing and administrative levels. -Three (3) years minimum experience as a Maintenance Supervisor (preferred) or Technician in a multi-family apartment setting or equivalent industry. -Intermediate computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite. -Pool certification preferred -The ability to understand and work within a budget -HVAC and EPA Certification
