The Role

Overview

Lead sanitation team, ensure cleanliness and compliance in food manufacturing.

Tasks

-Oversee proper chemical usage, storage, and titration testing in compliance with FSIS/USDA and company requirements. -Support environmental monitoring and corrective action initiatives as needed. -Supervise and train sanitation and housekeeping staff to meet company and regulatory standards. -Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork within the sanitation department. -Maintain accurate and current SSOPs, sanitation logs, and chemical inventory records. -Develop and manage daily and weekly cleaning schedules to ensure timely and thorough completion of tasks. -Identify and report maintenance or repair needs, and ensure follow-up on work orders.

What You Bring

-Minimum 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment (meat processing experience preferred). -Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and hold teams accountable. -Proficient in MS Word and Outlook; experience with maintenance or quality systems a plus. -Strong knowledge of sanitation principles, food safety, and FSIS/USDA regulations. -Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. -A well-established food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead daily sanitation operations and ensure all facility areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a sanitation team, maintain documentation, and collaborate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to support continuous improvement and audit readiness.
