Maintain vehicle restraint systems regionally, overseeing inspections, site visits and support.

Tasks

-Provide support in the identification and management of asset studies and survey works, including prioritisation of needs to ensure assets remain in serviceable condition and meet the requirements of our standards. -Conduct the development of early solutions for renewals and/or improvements, including the compiling and checking of relevant documents, evidence and options for value management, considering new techniques, materials, buildability, and costs. -Supporting technical reviews and approvals for preliminary and detailed design solutions. -Develop technical works briefs to enable procurement of external design resources and survey works, -Ensure the health and safety needs and wellbeing of customers and employees are fully considered and accounted for throughout the planning and delivery of each service activity.

What You Bring

-Good knowledge of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) standards and their application on the highway network; including use of the Road Restraint Risk Assessment Procedure (RRRAP). -Degree or HND in relevant discipline and appropriate experience, or equivalent -Knowledge and experience in VRS design and systems. -Good knowledge of CDM 2015. -Membership of professional Body or working towards Membership
