The Role

Overview

Design and analyze tilt-up concrete wall panels for lifting/bracing solutions

Tasks

This person's main responsibility will be to review architectural/structural drawings and analyze elements of concrete tilt wall panels to determine stresses, as they relate to the lifting/bracing components (to prevent bending/cracking), using a proprietary state of the art design software. -Handle multiple projects at once -Adhere to customer (internal and external) volumes, timeline and expectations -Calculate lifting and bracing design for the tilt up industry -Interpret architectural/structural drawings -Prepare bill of materials and take off drawings for submittals -Interact and collaborate with customers, managers, engineers, project managers, quality control and other employees to resolve engineering related issues -Provide excellent customer service and support

What You Bring

This position reports to the Tilt Engineering Manager and will be based out of our office in Tampa, Florida. This job will not require travel. -Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment -Ability to use a variety of computer programs, including CAD or BIM software and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) -Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering -Self-starter, motivated and able to take initiative, with ability to finish a project on time -Excellent organization skills -Ability to read and interpret drawings -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Must be able to work closely with others -Attention to detail -Excellent time management skills
