Tasks

-Mentor more junior team members, potentially leading to an early line management role. -Support business development and contribute to internal initiatives that drive innovation and technical excellence. -Prepare professional reports including condition and defect analyses, Technical Due Diligence, Dilapidations and remedial works schedules -Produce and review reports, presentations drawings to an excellent standard, with an emphasis on clarity, accuracy and technical insight. -Lead and contribute to a variety of projects, providing strategic advice on building performance, lifecycle planning, creative reuse, and more. -Represent Buro Happold at meetings with clients, other professionals, and suppliers and build strong, trusted relationships. -Act as Job Leader, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. -Prepare technical specifications and schedules, design development reports and supporting clients in the implementation and on-site monitoring of design solutions.

What You Bring

-Experience preparing professional reports and presenting to clients. -Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS) and experience in facilities management or property consultancy. -Experience acting as lead surveyor on projects -Strong project coordination and financial management skills. -Strong technical knowledge and capability from working on a wide range of projects, ranging in age, typology and sectors -A Bachelor's degree BSc or Masters degree MSc in a relevant discipline (i.e. Building Surveying). -As an experienced Senior Building Surveyor, you will be able to demonstrate: -Willingness to travel when needed. -A collaborative approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
