The Role

Overview

Lead design and management of bridge and heavy‑civil infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Lead and mentor junior engineers. -Engage with clients to define and achieve a successful outcome. -Occasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain. -Develop and manage project scope, schedule and budget. -Traveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying. -Perform structural design and analyses. -Lead planning, design and construction support on stimulating infrastructure projects. -Grow our practice in the Inland Northwest. -Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs. -Perform inspection/field work.

What You Bring

-Experience monitoring budgets and schedules, interacting with clients, and leading junior engineers. -Structural Engineer (SE) License -BSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering -Strong technical and organizational abilities -Proficiency with the following, or similar, software: CSI Software Suite (SAP, CSI Bridge), PG Super -Strong communicator and collaborator -Professional Engineer (PE) License in Washington State or the ability to obtain via reciprocity -Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table. -Experience in the design and construction of reinforced concrete and structural steel structures -7-12 years of experience -MSCE or MSE with emphasis in Structural Engineering -Ability to work with, mentor, and lead junior engineers
