Tasks
-Use software tools like Synchro and HCS to model and evaluate traffic operations. -Assist in traffic studies, signal timing analysis, and roadway safety assessments. -Participate in field visits to observe traffic patterns and verify site conditions. -Participate in networking and team-building events. -Support the design of traffic control devices such as signals, signs, and pavement markings. -Collect and analyze traffic data including volume counts, speed studies, and crash reports. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions for transportation challenges.

What You Bring
-Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. -Working in OpenRoads Designer, SignCAD and AutoCAD software. -Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program with a focus or interest in traffic and/or transportation. -Familiarity with traffic engineering software (Synchro, HCS), OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD is a plus. -Previous internship or co-op experience is helpful but not required.
