Tasks

-Cloud hosting: Encourage cloud adoption, oversee application configuration, installation, and lifecycle management, while contributing to system design and architecture. -Application development and Configuration management: Design, develop and configure applications and interfaces. Ensure code quality and Build and maintain rigorous release pipelines. -Team Leadership & Agile Delivery: Lead and develop a cross-functional engineering team, collaborating with Product Owners and Delivery Leads to manage backlogs, develop solutions, manage support queues and actively participate in agile events. -Operational Excellence: Manage incidents, problems, and changes within SLAs, implement automation for efficiency, and ensure secure, well-maintained IT services through patching and vulnerability management. Be part of an On-call support rota.

-Operational Excellence: Familiar with ITIL processes, Agile/DevOps practices, cloud operations, and tools like Visual Studio and Azure DevOps. -Development & Integration: Skilled in Python, SQL, JavaScript, YAML, .NET, C#, and experience in creating system integrations, data modelling and developing solutions. -Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment: Proficient in application packaging, building and managing of DevOps pipelines and optimising Software Delivery Life-cycles. -Cloud Engineering & infrastructure: Experience in Azure Cloud, terraform and cloud-based application lifecycle management.
