Tasks

As Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of on-site activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. You’ll coordinate contractors, manage schedules, and maintain strong communication with the project management and engineering teams to deliver the project on time and within budget. -Oversee day-to-day site operations for a grid-scale BESS project in Aberdeen. -Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with HSE requirements and project documentation. -Manage subcontractors, site personnel, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery. -Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges. -Report progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager and wider team. -Maintain site safety, quality, and environmental standards in line with company and client expectations.

What You Bring

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking to take the lead on a major grid-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) project? -Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale renewable energy, grid connection, or infrastructure projects. -SMSTS / SSSTS certification preferred. -Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. -Full UK driving licence and willingness to be site-based in Aberdeen. -Strong understanding of electrical systems or experience working on electrical installations — BESS or substation experience highly desirable.
