Tasks

-Drafting and digital modeling to a professional level -Project Management: Manage a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues. -Improvement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing business practices, then suggest and implement improvements while developing and delivering projects or a work stream within the organization's change management program. Involves working with guidance from senior colleagues. -Leadership and Direction: Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these and to do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals. -Performance Management: Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team/personal objectives. -Strategic Planning: Develop and/or deliver elements of a strategic planning system with guidance from senior colleagues. -Stakeholder Engagement: Develop stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs, issues, and concerns; and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns to support the communication of business information and decisions. -Engineering Standards Specification: Analyze information, draft engineering standards and specifications, and evaluate the effectiveness of those standards within own engineering discipline to ensure work of the required quality is delivered and to inform engineering work in the organization and/or of its suppliers, contractors, and consultants. -Budgeting: Develop and/or deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues. -Organizational Capability Building: Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions, including continuing professional development specified by professional or regulatory institutions, to build their professional capabilities. Provide informal training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.

What You Bring

-Personal Portfolio or Project Sheets, minimum 5 projects (20 MB Max PDF or Web-based) -Ability to win and manage new project work -Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-design) required -Park or campus master planning experience required -Lumion or other rendering software a plus -Revu BlueBeam a plus -Sketchup or equivalent 3D modeling required -Revit a plus -Strong writing and editing skills for planning documents and reports -Project Management experience required -Microsoft Office required -Technical familiarity with processes and workflow for architecture, landscape architecture, and/or urban design -LandFX a plus -Professional undergraduate or graduate degree from a program in landscape architecture, architecture, planning, urban design, or related field required -Strong graphic design and communication skills -10+ years’ experience in Landscape Architecture -Strong planning and project design talent -Architecture or Urban Design experience a plus -Autocad required -ArcMap or QGIS a plus
