Manage service & warranty inspections, customer support, and repairs for new homes.

Tasks

-Explain to customers how to use products and ensure that customers have all required manuals -Attend required department office day, as well as playing an active part of team development -Be on time to appointments and phone to cancel or change appointments if emergency delays occur -Ensure that all customers receive prompt responses and follow up to all matters raised and ensure that commitments given are resolved in a timely manner -Completing Inspections in Customer’s homes after the Service period finishes, or when a new Warranty case is registered, to qualify defects and disqualify non defects and create scope of works for repairs with costings -Ensure on-site works are undertaken to both Metricon and current industry standards -Ad Hoc Site Inspections for active jobs

What You Bring

-Experience in the building industry (preferable in the volume new home environment) -Progress efficiently through both the diagnostic and action stages of each allocated home; and -Cert IV in Building is highly regarded -Up to date recording were required with all reports. -Working knowledge of Australian Building Codes, standards and regulations; and -Experience in a customer service/contact role is required -The ability to manage self and others in a time critical environment is of utmost importance -A trade background in the construction industry would be an advantage ideally in carpentry
