Tasks

-Monitor fixed asset details, including costs, depreciation, transfers, disposals, and asset retirement obligations -Interpret agreements (partnership, equipment, real estate etc.) to identify financial impacts -Prepare and review journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and variance analysis. -Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes -Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP -Assist with year-end audits and compliance activities -Manage audit requests for internal and external stakeholders -Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on transactions -Establish priorities and meet deadlines across assigned responsibilities -Analyze tax equity partnership restructurings and project debt -Research and respond to tax inquiries; review tax returns -Assist with intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidations. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Asset Management, Business Development, Legal, Global and Regional Finance teams etc -Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting -Handle accounting for corporate and project level entities, including Project Financing, Work in progress, Debt and Tax equity structures

What You Bring

Enfinity Global is seeking an experienced professional to lead the accounting activities for our US portfolio, which includes multi-state solar and storage operating projects, development pipeline, and renewable energy assets to be acquired. This role requires a strong understanding of project assets and investment structures (financial, technical, and contractual), as well as expertise in compliance, financial reporting, and optimization. Additionally, the role supports investor reporting, complex financing structures, and environmental commodity/REC sales. Our team of over 350 Enfiniters comprises seasoned finance professionals, as well as experienced project developers and operators with extensive industry experience across all stages of the project life cycle. We pride ourselves on being creative and innovative solution providers to our customers and partners. -Proficiency in MS Office and NetSuite is mandatory. -Ability to interpret contracts and manage project financials -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment -Strong knowledge of US GAAP -Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred but not required -Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills -Understanding of NCI, partnership, lease, and fixed asset accounting -5+ years of accounting experience in energy, real estate, asset management, or related fields
