The Role

Tasks

The Safety Representative will be responsible for conducting site safety audits, delivering safety meetings and new hire safety orientations, performing equipment inspections, inspecting trenching and excavating activities, and implementing industrial hygiene controls, as well as other areas of civil construction safety management.

What You Bring

The Safety Representative must also be well-versed in basic computer software applications such as Microsoft Office, Hammertek, SafetyCulture, Procore, or related. Previous experience as a safety professional, managing safety objectives on civil construction activities within power plant projects, wind farms/solar farms, natural gas facility projects, and other heavy civil infrastructure-related projects, is required. -A BCSP, CSP, ASP, GSP, OHST, SMS, CHST, STSC, STS, or Bachelor's degree in safety management is required. -Must be able to pass a background check. -Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. -Must be well-versed in case management. -A minimum of 5 years of experience as a safety professional working in heavy civil construction projects is required.

Benefits

Per diem is paid at a day rate for 7 days. $50-60 per hour plus 1.5 overtime.
