Overview
Operate and supervise ROV missions from an onshore control centre, mentoring pilots.

Tasks
-Pilot and control Work-Class and light Work-Class ROVs from the ROC using digital control systems and remote telemetry interfaces. -Execute subsea operations such as asset inspection, survey, intervention, and light tooling in alignment with mission plans and safety protocols. -Ensure accurate completion of dive logs, video recording, and reporting documentation in accordance with company and project standards. -Mentor and provide on-shift guidance to ROC ROV Pilot Technicians, supporting their technical development and operational confidence. -Monitor system performance, video feeds, sonar data, and sensor outputs to support precise navigation and task execution. -Collaborate with offshore technicians and engineers to support fault diagnosis and live troubleshooting during operations. -Assist the ROC Supervisor in planning, preparing, and executing daily operations, including virtual pre-dive checks and system readiness tasks.

What You Bring
-Problem-solving and initiative: Seeks feedback and engages in CPD activities to enhance technical and operational capabilities. -Prior experience with remote piloting systems or digital ROV control platforms preferred -A minimum of 3-5 years ROV experience operating WROVs. -Demonstrated proficiency in piloting, intervention, and tooling operations -Strong working knowledge of subsea navigation systems, video capture, and data logging Demonstrated understanding of subsea operational environments (e.g. inspection, observation, and light intervention scopes) – desirable. -ROV Introductory Training: successful completion of an IMCA-approved ROV Introductory Training course (IMCA R002 compliant), with valid certification – desirable. -OPITO approved BOSIET with CA-EBS, MIST (for UKCS only) and OEUK Medical (including Bi-Deltoid shoulder measurements. -Familiarity with LWROVs and WROVs (e.g., Kystdesign, Seaeye) and associated subsea tooling -Technical Qualification: Recognised qualification in electronics, robotics, hydraulics, or marine engineering -Competence: IMCA Company Member Competence Certificate or Portfolio for R02 – Senior ROV Pilot. -Teamwork and communication: Works collaboratively, follows instructions, and contributes to a positive, safety-focused team environment.
