The Role

Overview

Assist with engineering design, permitting, and compliance for waste and environmental projects.

Tasks

-Performing site visits and prepares documents for public and private clients for a broad range of environmental compliance issues. -Performing routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures. -Performing administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site project -Work both independently on small projects and as part of larger project teams to assist senior personnel -Complete groundwater sampling including coordination with laboratories, data analysis, and reporting. -Performing overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage. -Prepare environmental permit documents on behalf of clients for regulatory agency compliance, coordinate and complete permitting project. -Work with applicable regulators on environmental compliance.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related Engineering field -1 year general Civil/Environmental experience with an emphasis on environmental compliance, design, permitting, and construction preferred -Prior experience with field work and environmental regulations is a plus. -EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" (or “Designer) and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation is a plus
