The Role
Overview
Maintain, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment in a plastics manufacturing plant.

Tasks
-Safely and efficiently use all tools for maintenance, overhaul, and setup of company assets. -Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment according to schedule and accurately complete related documentation. -Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. -You will work in conditions that may include heat, dust, and noise, with appropriate PPE provided to ensure safety. -Operate lifting devices, scissor lifts, and genie booms as required, following all safety protocols. -Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals. -Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.

What You Bring
-Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; plastics, injection molding, or extrusion experience is an asset. -Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to succeed in this role. -Comfortable using digital tools and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). -Minimum 3 years of experience as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanic. -Uniforms and PPE provided. -Valid Ontario Millwright Trade Certification (433A) or Interprovincial Red Seal qualification. -Must provide own basic hand tools. -Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively. -Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems. -This role is primarily based in a plant environment and involves physical activity, including lifting, pulling, and pushing objects (up to 50–100 lbs.), as well as standing and walking for extended periods. -Knowledge of health and safety practices.
