Oversee daily operations, safety, production, maintenance, and staff at asphalt plants.

Tasks
-Monitor plant operations to meet daily and seasonal production targets. -Provide coaching, performance feedback, and cross-training opportunities. -Work directly with Quality Control to ensure mix consistency and specification compliance. -Conduct routine safety observations and ensure PPE and equipment safeguards are in use. -Train and mentor plant staff to operate equipment safely and efficiently. -Lead daily safety discussions, enforce safe work practices, and correct unsafe conditions. -Support equipment reliability improvements and capital project planning. -Accurately record and report production data and plant performance metrics. -Manage asphalt oil inventory, tank levels, temperature controls, and product receiving. -Troubleshoot production or mix-related performance issues. -Plan staffing and scheduling to support production demand and employee development. -Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities with maintenance personnel. -Coordinate raw material deliveries and maintain inventory accuracy. -Work in environments with varying temperatures, dust, and industrial noise. -Maintain clean and organized plant grounds and production areas.

What You Bring
-Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work at heights or outdoors for extended periods. -Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs. -Valid driver’s license -Ability to read, write, and speak English -Ability to think strategically and collaborate on problem solving -3–5 years of asphalt plant or similar industrial production experience required. -Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot plant equipment and controls. -Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, production systems). -Knowledge of asphalt mix production methods and associated oil management practices. -Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. -General knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and the ability to implement the appropriate related programs and controls
