Overview
Perform cost estimating, analysis, and control for LNG project, supporting budgets.

Tasks
-Assists in the development of quantity takeoffs for a specific discipline or specialty -Supports the preparation of cost data for proposals or contracts -Supports the project trend program -Assists in the development and application of unit rates (cost and job hours) to quantity takeoffs -Assists in developing specific project codes of accounts and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions -Performs routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities, as directed -Assists with budget allocation and reporting/cost control for specific construction discipline or group of disciplines -Supports the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports

What You Bring
-Knowledge of engineering and/or construction management is customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience. -Knowledge of financial report systems and controller account codes, and understanding of Controller instructions, which impact Project Controls. -Proficiency in using multiple discipline-specific software applications currently used by Bechtel (Ecosys, Hyperion, Digital Supply Chain, for example). -Proficiency in using PC operating systems, including several basic software applications. -Proactive self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and efficiently. -Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, financial reporting systems, and cost analysis at a jobsite location. -Skilled in oral and written communication. -Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience -Knowledge of LNG projects and jobsite experience is preferred. -Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes, as performed by Bechtel. -Experience on major lump sum projects with direct hire construction strategy is required.
