Tasks

-Work on complex opportunities to evaluate and/or integrate new energy supply resources. -Scan, print, file and retrieve paper work -Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives -Incorporate operational, legal, regulatory, and environmental factors in completion of assignments -Author work products in support of regulatory filings including the application of utility tariffs -Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics -Work on complex technical specifications, energy forecasting, energy modeling, contracts and compliance requirements

What You Bring

-Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record -Have or develop a working knowledge of NorthWestern Energy supply operations -Strong computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills -Experience in business development or electric utility preferred -Bachelor's Degree in business administration, economics, finance, marketing or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required -Combine engineering knowledge with communication skills to engage internal stakeholders, external stakeholders and the general public -Knowledge of FERC and NERC -Flexible and adaptable to changing of assignments and priorities of the Energy Supply Group -Ability and aptitude to plan work, anticipate issues, and develop solutions to meet schedules is essential -Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record Strong computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills -Demonstrate ability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders -Ability to travel to meetings and conferences (Up to 10% travel per year) -Master's Degree in business administration, analytics, economics or related field is a plus -Knowledgeable of electricity generation, energy production calculations, and associated metrics -Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple conflicting tasks and demands -P.E or ability to obtain P.E. a plus Experience in electric distribution or transmission engineering, modeling and construction preferred -Ability to pass a drug test and a background check -Bachelor's degree in Engineering -Knowledge in Project Management principles and fundamentals desired -Knowledge in project management principles and fundamentals desired -Knowledge of FERC and PURPA requirements -Ability and aptitude to plan work, anticipate issues, and develop solutions to meet schedules -Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record -Knowledgeable of electricity generation, energy production calculations and associated metrics -Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record -Relevant experience may include business strategy, market research, financial analysis, statistics and communication
