Tasks

-Ensure preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. -Design and enforce internal controls and accounting policies, including J-SOX compliance. -Manage treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring, customer credit, and banking relationships. -Ensure compliance with all JV contractual obligations, including reporting schedules, financial covenants, and audit requirements. -Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support professional development of team members. -Oversee company insurance renewals. -Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with JV finance counterparts to ensure alignment on shared objectives. -Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. -Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits. -Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including automation of systems and processes. -Coordinate joint audits and intercompany reconciliations with JV parent entities. -Oversee all core accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, general ledger, cost and inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. -Manage capital contributions, distributions, and JV-related cash flow processes. -Act as the primary accounting liaison for JV parent companies, ensuring clarity and consistency in financial communications. -Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and operational excellence. -Maintain compliance with financial regulations. -Promote collaboration across departments and functions to ensure financial integrity and operational alignment.
