Tasks

-Responsible for ensuring the quality of your own work through self-review and adherence to established standards. -Assist in preparing applications and supporting documentation for engineering permits when necessary. -Developing written and verbal communication skills with a strong willingness to learn and engage effectively with team members. -Engage in mentorship and structured learning opportunities with experienced engineers and designers to build foundational skills. -Coordinate with technical personnel to gather and record data for design projects and complete as-built and record print revisions from marked drawings. -Responsible for creating and revising drawings and documentation for transmission and distribution projects, in AutoCAD, from scope documents, engineering sketches and / or verbal instructions. -Prepare bill of material to procure needed materials for projects.

What You Bring

-Introductory ability to effectively read/understand and develop construction drawings. -Interest in high-voltage transmission/distribution lines. Experience is a plus. -Ability to work independently and within a team environment, working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines. -Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CAD) or -Developing analytical and organizational skills, with growing attention to detail and a willingness to learn problem-solving approaches. -0-6 years of experience -Adaptable and eager to learn, with a foundational ability to collaborate with project teams in a multi-discipline environment. -Foundational understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation. -Valid Driver’s License is required.
