The Role

Overview

Perform planned and reactive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • inspections

  • yard maintenance
  • snow removal

Tasks

-Monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, air regulator stations, and other facility items -Repair/replace water faucets, water valves, flush valves -Replace HVAC filters on roof top units -Aid in yard conditions: gravel spreading, pothole repairs, snow removal/clearing/scraping/sanding/salting

What You Bring

-Small drywall repairs/paint touch ups -Valid Driver’s License for local pickups and drop offs. -Compressed air regulator and ventilation maintenance/repair/installation -Physically fit an able to work outside in all weather conditions. -Good communication & organization skills for reporting and assignments. -Work requires practical knowledge of the application of mechanics, small engine repair, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. -Basic knowledge and experience with any of the following: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring. -Able to take daily direction and assignments from the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor -Basic Knowledge of the OHSA. -Leadership qualities include ability to instruct and maintain effective and efficient productivity from departmental personnel. -Plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, small tool and electrical, automation, vehicles and equipment repairs
