The Role

Overview

Maintain, repair and inspect commercial/industrial electrical systems and services.

Tasks

-Assist all other trades as and when required. -Undertake as directed the planned preventative maintenance programme (PPM) related to Electrical Inspections and Testing within a wide variety of buildings and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines, statutory acts and regulations -Carry out routine servicing and response repairs to electrical services equipment, including fault diagnosis and rectification -Estimate, requisition and recommend the acquisition of necessary materials to ensure that appropriate and satisfactory repairs and maintenance are carried out following best practice and Health and Safety at Work regulations. -Undertake the day to day maintenance and repair of building services installations, including lighting, power, emergency lighting systems, energy conservation, heating controls, hot water systems and renewable systems

-Current driving licence -18th Edition qualified with amendment -Experience of commercial and light industrial installation practices essential, inclusive of single and three phase electrical systems. -Time Served Electrical Apprenticeship
