Tasks

- Ensure compliance with ERISA and COBRA regulations. - Communicate effectively about employee benefit offerings to ensure understanding among staff. - Manage benefits administration for all office locations. This role is essential in shaping and managing the benefits offerings for our firm, ensuring that employees are well-informed and supported in their choices. The individual will negotiate terms and renewals with vendors and brokers, while also overseeing the administration of benefits across all offices. A key aspect of this position involves maintaining strong relationships with employees, brokers, and vendors to facilitate effective communication and support. The successful candidate will conduct open enrollments, ensure compliance with ERISA and COBRA regulations, and manage a variety of health and welfare plans, including disability, HCRA, DCRA, life insurance, medical, dental, 401(k) programs, employee exit programs, transportation programs, and time off management. - Oversee health and welfare plan administration including disability, HCRA, DCRA, life insurance, medical, dental, 401(k) program, employee exit program, transportation programs, and time off management. - Negotiate benefits terms and renewals with vendors and brokers. - Plan and communicate benefits offerings to employees. - Maintain day-to-day relationships with employees, brokers, and vendors. - Conduct open enrollment sessions for employee benefits.

What You Bring

- Previous experience in benefits management or human resources is highly desirable. - Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels. - Proficient in benefits administration processes and best practices. - In-depth knowledge of ERISA and COBRA compliance requirements. - Relevant certifications in benefits administration or human resources (e.g., CEBS or PHR/SPHR) are a plus. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. - Strong negotiation skills with experience in vendor management. - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
