Overview

Provide operational HR support and strategic guidance to business managers in Clean Energy unit.

Tasks

-Delivering training and presenting at local business meetings -Challenge and coach line managers on how to engage employees, address resulting people and employee relations issues and build people capabilities effectively. -Managing maternity/paternity/flexible working/home working requests -Discreet handling of sensitive information, always ensuring confidentiality -Contributing to the creation and implementation of new policies and processes -Providing input into HR strategic goals and operational plans

What You Bring

-Proficient in Microsoft tools, including: Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint -Thorough understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices. -Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment -Desirable: CIPD Level 5 qualification (minimum). -Performance management, disciplinary, grievances and redundancy -Proactive and confident in decision-making at line manager level, with guidance as needed. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the business. -Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively. -Strong organisational skills to manage operational responsibilities while contributing to wider business initiatives. -Significant experience in an HR environment, with proven expertise in a generalist HR role. -Proactive support to Business Area Managers, Team Leaders and Line managers
