Tasks

-Travel to a wide range of project sites worldwide both onshore and offshire. -Reports directly to the Foreman and Supervisor on site and the personnel planner in the office. -Complete post operation equipment maintenance checks. -Ensure compliance with and proactively promote safe working principles, good working practises, wearing of correct PPE, good housekeeping, reporting of safety observations, near misses and incidents. -Maintenance, preparation and packing of equipment in the Middlesbrough yard in readiness for mobilisation to a project. -Support packing and unpacking of containers in accordance with detailed packing lists. -Filling out project documentation such as but not limited to: equipment pre-use check sheets, maintenance records, daily site reports. -Rigging and general lifting of equipment. -Unpacking, setup, istallation, operation and maintenance of Mammoet Offshore Services equipment including but not limited to strand jacks, diesel driven hydraulic power unites, ballast pumps, winches, hydraulic jacks and weighing equipment on project sites. -Proactively participate in the companies in house training scheme for our specialist equipment as well as relevant third party courses. -To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legal, company and client safety regulations, risk assessments and method statements.

What You Bring

-Current valid driving licence -Hydraulic systems, PLC controlled equipment, experience in a similar role -Current offshore medical and survival certificate and OPITO MIST -Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulic/Marine/Industrial background -Based at our Offshore Services office in Middlesbrough, UK with regular travel worldwide -Industry related general certificates such as CPCS Slinger-Signaller, Lift Supervisor, Forklift Truck, Telehandler, CCNSG Safety Passport, Abrasive Wheels, IPAF, Working at Height -Reading, understanding and working to site and project specific method statements, risk assessments, ITP's and engineering drawings. -Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulic City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ L3 or similar -Willing to travel and work within and outside of the UK for extensive periods including some offshore working -Problem solving and fault finding and able to invent and propose new methods or modifications to existing systems -Current valid passport (no restrictions) -Experience in hydraulic and mechanical maintenance and hydraulic system operation -Willing and capable to learn operation and maintenance Mammoet's specialist equipment
