Facilities & Maintenance Lead

Description

• Managing and organising goods, spare parts, and storage areas.
• Maintaining clean room facilities, including exhaust and AC systems.
• Leading hands-on facility operations, supervising one direct report (Maintenance Technician) and coordinating with external contractors.
• Supporting chemical disposal processes and coordinating work with external contractors.
• Performing basic mechanical and electrical tasks, escalating to specialists when needed.
• Proactively identifying and addressing maintenance needs to keep the facility running smoothly.

Requirements

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Some experience in stores/inventory management, and a forklift license (or willingness to obtain one).
• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Licensed electrician (preferable), with the ability to perform basic electrical work.
• Familiarity with manufacturing floors, labs, or cleanroom environments.
• Strong sense of ownership and pride in your craft.
