Technical Maintenance Supervisor

Overview

Supervise trades delivering critical maintenance services across Defence sites.

Tasks

-Oversees contractor safety frameworks including SWMS, onsite compliance to Ventia Critical Risk Protocols. -Actively supports and participates in transformation programs -Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and Defence contracts -Proactive contractor management of all key performance metrics within the month. -Oversee planned maintenance and repair works, including audits and optimisation of assets -Manage client requests and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication -Ensures work order allocation to timesheets is accurate. -Ensure contractual compliance through site assessments and initiate necessary work orders or quotes -Provide on-going support and leadership to the trades and maintenance tea

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of WHS legislation, WHS committees and safety culture development -A valid C-class driver's license -Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police. -Minimum of Trade and/or Relevant Qualification and/or extensive experience. -Trade contractor licence highly desirable -Strong negotiation and communication skills -Demonstrated experience supervising subcontractors and liaising directly with clients -Proven experience in operational leadership within Defence or similar complex environments -Proficient computer skills—intermediate level in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook -Uniform/PPE supplied.
