Tasks

-Establish clear KPIs for leasing teams and review results regularly to drive accountability and engagement. -Collaborate closely with the Director of Resident Services to ensure seamless communication between leasing and resident support teams. -Partner with local organizations, businesses, and relocation companies to strengthen brand visibility and referral networks. -Collaborate with the Director of Resident Services to ensure consistent service quality and resident retention strategies. Create and support resident engagement programs, community events, welcome programs, and renewal campaigns that reinforce loyalty and enhance community culture. -Ensure all leasing activities comply with fair housing and regulatory requirements. -Foster collaboration between leasing, operations, maintenance, and resident services teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow. -Develop and maintain relationships with relocation firms, corporate housing providers, universities, hospitals, and major employers to create a steady pipeline of qualified leads. -Manage BLT’s marketing calendar, digital assets, and online presence to maintain a consistent, high-impact brand image. -Develop and implement standards for resident and prospect communications that ensure professionalism, responsiveness, and equal treatment consistent with Fair Housing requirements -Evaluate and leverage technology automation solutions to streamline the leasing process and workflows and improve response times. -Track and report on customer satisfaction metrics -Represent the brand at community and industry events to strengthen BLT’s market positioning and partnerships. -Collaborate with the VP of Operations and Area Managers to align pricing, unit availability, and concession strategy with market demand. -Develop and implement data-driven leasing and pricing strategies to meet or exceed occupancy, rent growth, and renewal goals across all properties. -Oversee the handoff process from prospect to resident, ensuring a seamless leasing-to-living experience. -Pursue corporate and student housing partnerships to expand recurring occupancy and reduce marketing dependency on retail leads. -Create and implement standardized leasing training programs focused on sales excellence, customer experience, and technology utilization. -Oversee daily leasing operations, ensuring consistent training, to ensure consistency in standards, performance, and resident experience. -Coordinate marketing efforts for new developments, renovations, and lease-up campaigns. -Deliver regular performance reports highlighting leasing velocity, summarizing occupancy, market trends, and campaign effectiveness. -Lead, motivate, and mentor all Leasing Managers, Leasing Consultants and marketing team members across BLT’s portfolio. -Develop and oversee integrated marketing plans for each property, including digital, social media, print, and experiential campaigns. -Oversee creative content development (photography, video tours, print collateral, signage, and promotional materials). -Promote a culture of hospitality, responsiveness, and professionalism throughout all resident and prospect interactions. -Partner with digital agencies and advertising vendors to maximize qualified lead generation and reduce cost per lease. -Implement and manage reporting dashboards to track leasing, lead sources, and marketing ROI. -Direct the design and maintenance of property websites, ensuring SEO optimization and conversion-focused design. -Collaborate with our internal analyst team to optimize rental rates and absorption.

What You Bring

Powered by JazzHR -Deep understanding of fair housing and compliance regulations. -Demonstrated expertise in CRM, marketing analytical tools and property management systems. -7–10+ years of progressive experience in residential leasing, marketing, or real estate operations; 3+ years in a leadership or multi-site role. -Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience) -Strong knowledge of the Stamford, Norwalk, and Jersey City markets preferred. -Proven success managing leasing operations for large multifamily or mixed-use portfolios. -Ability to travel between communities regularly
