Tasks

-Contribute to the negotiation, development, and implementation of agreements for construction and O&M phases, and review Cadence’s delivery strategy. -Lead and mentor the contract management team, focusing on best practices and continuous improvement. -Identify and mitigate contractual risks and support the resolution of disputes with the Legal team. -Provide leadership and strategic guidance on contract management and commercial matters to the Commercial team and other project functions. -Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for Alto’s leadership and Board of Directors. -Enhance and oversee contract management tools, systems, and procedures for effective monitoring of PDA activities. -Monitor Cadence’s performance and procurement activities to ensure adherence to PDA terms. -Foster collaborative relationships with Cadence and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and the development of effective solutions.

What You Bring

-Detail-oriented, action-driven and result-focused combined with rigor. -Strong relationship building, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are required. -Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including contract management for large-scale infrastructure projects. -Experience with public-private partnerships and collaborative delivery models is essential (progressive P3, IPD, Alliancing, etc.). -Flexibility is required, as the role involves travel between Toronto and Montreal. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or law, or equivalent. -Ability to adapt to an evolving environment. -Bilingualism (English and French), both spoken and written, is considered an asset.
