Overview
Design and analyze bridges, prepare plans, support inspections, ensure compliance.

Tasks
-Contribute to project documentation, including reports, calculations, and cost estimates. -Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to solve engineering challenges. -Conduct load ratings and structural evaluations of existing bridges. -Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal standards and regulations. -Prepare drawings, plans, and technical specifications for bridge and roadway projects. -Support field inspections and data collection efforts. -Collaborate with team with structural analysis and/or design of bridges (including steel beam, prestressed concrete beam, concrete slab, pedestrian bridges, culverts, retaining walls, grade separations, stream crossings, bridge hydraulic analysis, bridge rehabilitations, bridge feasibility studies, bridge structure type studies, bridge load ratings, railroad bridges, and design-build pursuits).

What You Bring
-Preferred: Experience with CAD plan development, MicroStation/ORD. -Preferred: EIT Certification -Required: Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Structural emphasis preferred. -Required: Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and Manual for Bridge Evaluation. -Required: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. -Required: 1-5 years of bridge/culvert design experience.
