Tasks

-Engage with end clients as and when necessary -Identify, analyse and document interfaces within and between systems -Integration of Rail Systems into overall light rail, urban transit and heavy rail projects. -Take responsibility of your own and others' health and safety, and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to corporate and project Health and Safety rules, especially mental health, and well-being -Actively supporting the development of bids. -Assist in the commissioning and setting to work of Rail Control systems -Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information from unauthorized disclosure, modification or destruction. Never knowingly put Mott MacDonald information or information systems at risk -Ensure professional, courteous and cooperative relationship with team members and stakeholders; establish a work environment in which trust and respect is highly valued. -Act as a role model for Mott MacDonald’s vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with corporate related procedures -Promote equality, diversity and inclusivity in the workplace and adopt appropriate behavior when interacting with colleagues. -Work with key delivery partners and service providers for projects. -Interaction with, and direct support to colleagues across Mott MacDonald -Support of construction activities from the office and in the field

What You Bring

-INCOSE ASEP certification is desirable. -Ability to conduct your work independently -Ability to build and harbour good working relationships with our business partners, suppliers, contractors, and clients -Able to hold competent technical discussions with Client representatives -Broad experience of delivery within major infrastructure projects. -Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in the integration of systems, preferably in rail and transit or other public infrastructure projects -Able to interface with domain specialists, design managers and construction project managers, in a competent professional manner. -Experience in working within a Global business -Accurate and detail-oriented -Knowledge of railway systems and / or operation within infrastructure projects / technology development and implementation projects. -Demonstrable experience working with requirements, including development and elicitation -Digital aptitude -Working knowledge of IEC 15288: 2015 -Demonstrable experience in the development or deployment of complex systems -Good interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team. -Demonstrable experience in the setting to work of integrated solutions -Strong communication skills and English fluency. -Flexibility to travel -Proactive self-starter who’s also flexible and able to adapt and learn -P.Eng in Alberta, BC or Ontario or able to register
